Position: Volunteer, Fundraiser, Event Planner
Since my freshman year, I have volunteered at my local Boys and Girls Club, supervising the younger children and tutoring and mentoring the older students. As my involvement at the club grew, I also began helping to coordinate some of the periodic events that the club holds and fundraising for them. For example, I raised $5500 to support the club’s Christmas party last year. I have also raised money to support the club’s short-term and long-term programs, as well as its daily operations.
